David L. Couch, FNP-BC
Dave Couch is our full time Nurse Practitioner. With over 23 years of clinical practice he has extensive experience in Occupational and Environmental Health, Family Medicine, Emergency Care and Military Health Care.
Prior to his recent retirement from the Air National Guard as a Nursing Corp officer with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel he practiced in Military Health Care Hospitals, Clinics and in the field around the world.
Dave is a native of Topeka, Kansas, and received his Bachelor’s in Nursing from Washburn University. He has a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri at Columbia and he also holds a Master of Divinity degree from Midwest Baptist Theological Seminary. He is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Dave has Extensive experience and interest in Preventive Medicine but also Acute and Emergency Care. He sees patients of all ages and works a great deal with chronic diseases such as Diabetes, High Cholesterol and Heart Failure.
Dave and Dr. Soper have practiced together off and on for some fifteen years, allowing them to develop a close team working relationship. |
