Vascular Lesions
Fine red and blue lines of the face, red discoloration of the cheeks, and even full blown rosacea all respond well to laser therapy, usually with only one or two treatments. In the right circumstances we also get very good results treating spider veins on the legs. Fees range from $100 to $200 per session depending on the extent of the disease. |

Laser Peel
Our 2940 laser can precisely remove the outer layers of facial skin, resulting in increased smoothness, reduction of pores and scars, reduction of wrinkles, blending of brown and red spots and generally providing a soft, smooth, healthier complexion. A single laser peel can remove 20 to 60 microns or even more of skin surface. By contrast microdermabrasion removes about 6 microns. A full laser peel is priced at $400. Dr. Soper also can sometimes selectively peel away "lipstick lines" around the mouth and diminish scarring from acne or otherwise, with the 2940 instrument.
A laser peel at these depths (often called a "weekend peel") results in minimal downtime and virtually no post procedure discomfort. Depending upon the depth of treatment, our patients will experience 2 to 5 days of mild to moderate swelling and redness, like a sunburn. And two or even three peels may be performed over a period of several weeks or months, providing the dramatic results of much deeper and more debilitating peels.
We do not offer chemical peels as we’ve found the laser to be a much safer and predictable agent to achieve even better results. |

Lentigos (Liver Spots)
Lentigos, especially on the hands and face, are one of the most obvious stigmas of aging. And our laser will make short work of them! Lentigos are due to sun damage (pay attention and you’ll note that many people have more on the left side of their face than on the right – that’s because of sun exposure through the driver’s side window of their car.
Lentigo treatment takes about ten minutes and like most of our office cosmetic services requires no down time – you can go directly back to work or your regular activities following a treatment. |

Laser Toning
The 1064 laser is a valuable tool also to improve skin tone and stimulate collagen formation. At the same time wrinkling is reduced. This is a treatment our patients really love. The fee is $200 per treatment and treatments are done every two to four weeks. It generally requires 6 to 8 treatments for the full toning effect. |
