Most women have cellulite -- dents and pits in the skin of their thighs and rear. Its hormonally determined, that's why men don't have the problem.
Cellulite is the result of the formation of thousands or millions of tiny fibrous connections in the fat layer under the skin, drawing the skin up and causing dimples.
We've always thought there was no treatment for cellulite and laughed at the various cream and lotions promoted with the promise of reducing the problem.
But now there does seem to be something that reduces or eliminates the unpleasantness of cellulite. Using our VelaShape machine we apply mild heat and suction to break up the fibrous connections and smooth the skin. We've seen surprisingly good results with these treatments and now have several women who have completed the course and are quite enthused with the results.
 VelaShape is applied weekly in treatments of 30 to 45 minutes a piece for eight weeks. Then one or two touch-up treatments are needed every 6-12 months.
